An Introduction to Basidiomycotina, this book help the graduate and post-graduate students of plant pathology to quickly grasp the facts comprehensively. It is a collection and compilation work from various sources. In this book we have follow the classification of fungi proposed by Ainsworth G. C. (1973). The fungi included in the sub-division Basidiomycotina are mushrooms, boletes, toad stools, puffballs, geasters, stinkhorns, rust, smut, bracket or shelf fungi, bird`s nest fungi, fairy clubs, earth-stars and the jelly fungi.

Mr. Hanuman Singh is pursuing Ph.D. in the Department of Plant Pathology, Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur, Rajasthan and did his M.Sc. in 2013 from Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, Punjab. He has published six original research papers, One book in international and national journals of repute.
